Are you in a Toxic Relationship? What the Tarot Cards can Tell You

tarot spread reading for relationships

The foundation for being a psychic is intuition. Divination tools, on the other hand, are like glasses that you put on to see the small things. Tarot cards can show what a person’s real intentions are and give a bigger picture of any situation that needs to be clearer.

It’s important to find specific cards or combinations when I use the Tarot to read about love and relationships. I’m looking for things that show that the relationship or person is getting better. If I see a lot of these cards, I know the relationship between two people might be bad. Let cover the tarot card meanings in a toxic relationship.

The Magician Tarot Card in the Major Arcana

This card can be positive if it’s next to other cards that are also positive. It can also mean that the person you’re interested in is charming, but manipulative. There are times when someone only wants to do what they want, or wants to be with many people.

The 4 Page Cards
A person who likes the idea of being in love but doesn’t know how to be mature or consistent in a relationship might be in a spread with more than one card.

The 8 of Swords Tarot Card in the Minor Arcana

Sometimes, the 8 of Swords means that you can’t see what’s going on. But in a relationship, this could mean that you’re in a bad relationship or have been abused in your mind. You might have to break free!

In this case, it’s not being loyal to stay in a bad relationship that makes you feel stressed out. It’s choosing to hurt yourself mentally, emotionally, and sometimes even physically.

The 9 of Wands  Tarot Card in the Minor Arcana
This is a great card for sex, but when it comes with the Devil, Tower, or Chariot, it could mean that the other person is controlling or emotionally toxic.

The 7 of Swords Tarot Card in the Minor Arcana

A strategy card is on this deck, or it shows that the person you like likes to spend time alone. Con artists and criminals may be at play if the 7 of Swords is next to the Justice, Devil, or Hierophant cards, so be on the lookout for these cards.

Five of Wands Tarot Card in the Minor Arcana
If this card comes up in a reading, it could mean that there will be a lot of drama before things settle down, or that the other person is only looking for a casual relationship.

The Devil Tarot Card in the Major Arcana

Card: Rebellion, sexual expression, and freedom of choice may be encouraged by this card, as well. However, if negative cards are mixed with the Devil, then you need to be aware that there may be unhealthy habits or lies.

Some people live in cages with bars made out of the choices other people made for them or the circumstances other people forced on them. They also break free.

Four 3 Minor Arcana Cards

When I see the 3 of Cups and the 3 of Pentacles together, it almost always means there is a love triangle. With the 3 of Swords, it can show that a person has a relationship but is trying to break it up at the same time as they try to meet someone else.

The Knight of Wands Tarot Card in the Minor Arcana

The Knight of Wands is one of my favorite cards because it is so energetic and fun. If there are a lot of other Wands or Swords around this card, it could mean that the person you are infatuated with is playing a game and prefers situations with no strings attached.

The 8 Cups Tarot Card in the Minor Arcana

Many Swords together with this card can mean that the person you like isn’t really interested in you.

There are many Tarot card combinations and spreads that can help you find out more about your love life. If you are just starting to learn about them, try different spreads and write down what you learn. The Internet has a lot of tools and resources that can help you get started, and there are a lot of classes that can help you learn more about the Tarot and become a better reader.
